    I like Apple TV. But unfortunately their movie selection sucks. For instance the movie The Ugly Truth must be purchased to be viewed.
    On Netflix you can rent the movie.
    Also the "mission impossible" policy of rented movies dissapearing from AT after 24 hours is arcane
    I'm considering hooking up to Netflix streaming video now that they

    DVD Backup Software I love to use is FairMount (MAC) and DVDIdle (PC). To get FairMount, you must download DVDRemaster. These turn the DVD into DMG/ISO's to copy or play from. FairMount requires VLC for it to work.

    What I do is combine FairMount with Handbrake to convert to iTunes files or DVDIdle with Nero to create them on Windows boxes. These basically buffer the DVD so it can be copied/converted.
