Remote App Update
Apple has updated the iPhone/iPod touch remote app according to TUAW. This update is for play list creation, you can now create a genius play list from inside the app. Go forth and download, and in case you didn’t know the update is free.

The new Remote.app no longer lets me connect to my Mac and select to use the AppleTV as the speakers. It wouldn’t be a big deal except this method allowed me to use the volume control while connecting directly to the AppleTV does not. I’m quite disappointed. I guess I need to see if I can revert to the previous version through Time Machine.
