New Poll - Blockbuster Looking To Enter The Set-Top Box Wars - Who’s Still Using Blockbuster?

Engadget reported today that Blockbuster maybe be entering the movie set-top-box space for this holiday season. Wow, talk about coming a little late to the fight. Engadget said it best, in some ways it makes sense with Netflix spreading it’s streaming service all over like a virus, but to only be talking about a possible set-top-box, in November, for this holiday season? Talk about a last minute decision.

This leads me to our new poll. Are you still using Blockbuster, either online or the brick and mortar flavor, as a movie rental service? Take the poll to the right and let us know what you think. Comments are always welcome.

I suspended my Blockbuster account for a few months for the new TV season.

But now I’ve been using a Redbox machine to rent the occasional new release. Can’t beat a buck for a rental!

I actually switched to Netflix when I found out I could access my queue from the i.TV iPhone app.

I use Blockbuster and I actually love it. I’m less than a block away from a Blockbuster, so I can return my online rentals at the store and get free rentals from the store. I get 5 free rentals a month, and then it’s only $1.50 per movie (at the store). I could rip tons of movies to my Apple TV this way, but I don’t (cough). I could also do this with movies from the library which is only a few blocks form where I work. Btw, I have so much content to watch I canceled my cable TV. Apple TV and Blockbuster, I nub you!
