Hulu Streaming Maybe Coming To Netflix’s Roku Box
This is a bit of yesterdays news but Gizmodo is reporting that there are rumors that a Flash enabled browser may enable the Roku box to stream Hulu, YouTube and various other individual network sites. Of course Gizmodo goes on to say that this could be the feature which sets the Roku apart from the Apple TV. I’m not sure that even now Roku is in Apple TV’s league. With the Apple TV offering HD content, YouTube content, TV Shows, Podcasts and photo streaming, I think the Roku has a ways to go before they find a set of features to match let along set it apart from Apple TV. What do you think?

I would LOVE a box that streamed Hulu and other web content.
If I could get my TV shows for free, I’d tolerate a few embedded ads. I have a hard time paying 1.99 an episode on iTunes, much less a season pass.
Basically it’d be networks providing video on demand for their programming.

I think apple needs to secure a Netflix Watch it Now client for the AppleTV. Hell, I’d pay the $99 for it. I just don’t want to have to deal with another box.
