Hi from Canada!
My name is Bill G. and I’m a new contributor to ATVJ. I’m from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I bought my Apple TV soon after the Macworld Apple TV 2.0 announcement. The new features in ATV 2.0 made it very compelling and it’s turned out better than I expected.
I work as a product manager for a software company and I have an interest in all things Apple, Mac, movies, video games and TV. I enjoy blogging/tweeting/chatting about technology in general.
I’ll be trying to give a Canadian perspective on Apple TV because there are certainly users north of the border and since we do get different content, there is something to update on a regular basis. I’ll also post about various other topics.
I’d love to hear from other Canadians who follow ATVJ plus any suggestions on what to blog about. Follow me on twitter!

Thanks.
I just got my AppleTV and hope to eventually evade the Hollywood/TV Industry embargo against all but a limited few foreign films, but especially Canadian talents.
Probably very few people here in the lower 48 even know that Hollywood controls not only the movie theaters but cable channels and rentals as well.
Yikes. So much for free trade.
One of the first discoveries I made when I got the AppleTV last month is that I can get Trailer Park Boys (uncensored} on YouTube with the AppleTV.
If only iTunes movie store would agree to lift the foreign feature embargo.
