APPLE TV SOFTWARE UPDATE TONIGHT - UPDATE

Update - I hate to say it but I see nothing new on my end. It looks as though it was a .01 update bringing the software to 2.0.1. Anyone else see anything?

Hi All, I was tipped off by site visitor Jim that there is a software update available tonight, and indeed there is. I’m in the middle of it so as soon as everything restarts I’ll have a full report.

There is a new option to display your movies (streamed/synced or shared) by genre. Very handy too if you have a lot of your own content.

After the update under “My Movies” I now have a Genre selection. Other than that I don’t see much change.

the genre addition to movies is a great feature - but it doesnt work very well on either of my A-TV’s — loads that additional screen extremely slow and gets stuck while trying to navigate thru genre — only that menu does this — the rest of the menus are fine.

How long should the update date? My Apple TV has been blinking amber for 20 minutes now.
