This is a great tip that I have been using in my ATV for a while. However… one thing that bugs me: on my PC, when I play a radio station, the artist and song title are displayed; this does not happen on the ATV. I wonder why that is… I hoped the latest software update would address this, but no… C’mon, Apple!

Try Airfoil for Mac (not sure it its for PC) and you can stream things like Last.fm (great for parties) and Pandora from your Mac through the sound of your Apple TV. Its a paid program but works great, its see’s your ATV as a sound source with it own equalizer.
