Apple TV Junkie

For a while now we’ve been struggling with a way to bring our Apple TV community together in a way that we can share our Apple TV movie experiences with one another. Our problem is with our current forum set-up, we just aren’t able to disable the cumbersome registration process. Not fun.

In our efforts to find a third party solution we came across LivingSocial.com. LivingSocial.com is an interest-based social discovery network that allows people to catalogue, review, and share their favorite Movies, TV Shows, and more. For instance you can Manage your entire Apple TV/iTunes movie catalog, make recommendations, find out what your friends are watching, review those movies and even start a discussion of that movie. You should be able to see ATVJ’s Profile by clicking here. We’ll be adding more movies we’ve watched as time goes on. We’ve even added a widget to the bottom of the right hand column which displays our watched Apple TV titles. In all fairness there is one catch. There is a basic registration process. All you need is a valid email address and you are good to go. No special login names or profiles to fill out.
